Dr. Smaroula Pandelis is a psychologist – psychotherapist (psychodramatist – sociodramatist) and writer, situated in Athens – Greece. Works as a free – lancer in Greek, English and Italian.
Worked for the University of Piraeus as a visiting lecturer for eight years teaching Emotional Intelligence and Leadership. Served for four years as a board member at the National Authority for Medically Assisted Reproduction. Has served as a board member of the International Playback Theatre Network from 2018 to 2023. Is serving the board of the Hellenic Psychodrama Association as acting President since September 2024. Has published several self help psychology books and a number of children stories some of which have been listed by the Greek Ministry of Education as helpful reading, for elementary school students. Has had numerous appearances on various Greek TV programs and her articles appear in various Greek monthly periodicals.
- Lagarakis Stylianos N., MD, TEPVice president
Stylianos Lagarakis was born in 1971 and grew up in Athens. He was nurtured with love and care, which have been invaluable assets in his life. Love, respect, acceptance of others, and care are life values that permeate both his professional and personal life.
He studied General Medicine and then continued his studies, specializing in Psychiatry, Group Analysis, and Psychodrama. Since 1999, he has been actively involved in groups within the mental health field. His involvement in the mental health sector began with his presence at the Leros Asylum in 1998 as a member of the deinstitutionalization team under the guidance of Th. Megaloikonomou.
From 1999-2001, he was a therapist at the therapeutic community of the Naval Hospital of Salamis, where he became acquainted with Psychodrama through Afroditi Vlachochristopoulou.
From 2001-2003, as a physician at the Tyrintha prison and the General Hospital of Nafplio, he organized large Sociodrama groups and small psychodramatic groups, respectively.
From 2004-2010, as a physician at the Psychiatric Hospital of Athens (Dafni) and the Agioi Anargyroi Mental Health Center, he coordinated psychodrama groups with Lia Petriki and individual monodrama sessions.
As part of his involvement in Community Psychiatry, he organized and participated in a project to repatriate a foreign mentally ill patient to his homeland (Bangladesh), again under the guidance of Th. Megaloikonomou.
Since 1999, as a member of the IAGP, he has actively participated in multiple conferences as a speaker and psychodrama group coordinator. He currently serves on the IAGP Board of Directors and is Chair of the Membership Committee.
From 2001-2012, as a member of the Hellenic Association for Group Analysis and Psychotherapy, he organized numerous psychodrama seminars with guest colleagues from abroad and coordinated several 8-month psychodrama groups with Eleni Kariotaki, as well as the psychodrama group of the Kypseli Therapeutic Community.
In 2013, he founded the Centre of Athenian Psychodramatic Encounters (C.A.P.E.), where training in classical psychodrama, monthly psychodrama seminars, weekly therapeutic psychodramatic groups (on-site and online), and individual monodrama sessions take place. In 2024, C.A.P.E. was certified by FEPTO and became an affiliate member of I.A.G.P.
In 2013, he also founded the Hellenic Psychodrama Academy, which has since been held every two years in Crete, with global participation from colleagues around the world. It is a special event, a human gathering of professionals focused on life's values and the enjoyment of being together.
Since 2010, he has collaborated with Ulli Lobach, the founder of Theater for the Soul, organizing three-day seminars and workshops all over the world.
Since 2017, he has been collaborating with Suzhou University in China as a psychodrama trainer and supervisor.
His psychodrama trainers were Hilde Gött and Christof Hutter.
He is currently completing the writing of a psychodrama book titled "The Psychodramatic Applications on Sexuality."

My name is Agapi Kousteni, and I am a psychologist and psychotherapist specializing in psychodrama, psychodynamic analysis, LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy, and gender issues. I studied Psychology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Psychodrama at the Psychodrama Institute for Europe in Berlin and the Hellenic Society for Group Analysis and Psychotherapy, LGBTQ+ counseling and psychotherapy at Orlando LGBTQ+, a Master's Degree in Gender Studies: Methodologies, Theories, Policies at the Hellenic Open University, and Classical Philology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
My clinical experience focuses on psychodrama and psychodynamic therapeutic approaches at both individual and group levels for prevention, counseling, self-awareness, and treatment of adults, adolescents, and children, as well as parents, couples, and families. I have worked clinically with sensitive social groups, including unaccompanied minors as a child protection officer at the Association for the Care of Minors and Youth – House2 (2022-2023), refugees and migrant women at Melissa – Network of Migrant Women in Greece (2018-2019), homeless individuals at the Reception and Solidarity Center of the Municipality of Athens (KYADA 2013-2014), people with disabilities at the Hellenic Anti-Rheumatic Society (ELENA 2022), and at the Ergastiri – Center for Providing Services to Persons with Disabilities (2006).
Since 2018, I have been collaborating with the Hellenic Organization of Psychotherapy and Education in Group Analysis (HOPEinGA) as a coordinator for psychodrama self-awareness groups and as a lecturer for seminars, theoretical presentations, and lectures. Previously, I worked with the Psychodrama Institute of Athens (IPSA 2016-2019), Group Psychotherapy in Marousi (2010-2016), the Psychotherapeutic Center of Agios Dimitrios (2011), and the Hellenic Association for Group Analysis and Psychotherapy (HAGAP 2008-2009).
In the educational sector, I collaborated with the Philekpaideutiki Association – Counseling Psychological Service (2011-2012), focusing on the mental health of children and adolescents, counseling for parents and educators, and the development and implementation of various therapeutic programs/seminars. Additionally, I worked at the A’ Arsakeio Primary School of Psychiko (2010-2015) and with the A’ Athens Primary Education Directorate (2015-2016).
In my private practice, in addition to individual sessions and psychodrama groups, I coordinate affirmative approach groups for LGBTQ+ individuals and cine-psychodrama groups, which incorporate film experience and psychodrama.
Finaly, I have been involved in theater as an assistant director and psychodramatist (collaborating with the National Theater of Greece, the Patras Municipal and Regional Theater, the Art & Word Theater 104, the Cyclades Street Theater – Lefteris Voyatzis, the Michalis Kakogiannis Foundation, Chora Theater, Kappa Theater, Argo Theater, the Cultural Association of University Students of Athens, etc.) and in film, writing scripts and directing short films (participating in festivals in Greece and abroad).
